If you haven't noticed (for the two people that actually visit this page), I'm not on here very often, and when I am, I can't really post that much of my gooder stuff.

That's right, gooder.

One: my better (sorry, gooder) stuff is in my pencil work, but my scanners are screwy and when they do work, it doesn't show up unless I ruin it with ink. That and I don't have the patience for a big work. I'm trying to get past that though.

B: I really should learn the ins and outs of the programs I have at my disposal, like Photoshop and Flash and junk; right now everything I do in them seems unreasonably laborious, but...so is life.

More just me complaining, though.

I recently discovered how much I love Photoshop. Even without the finer tools, just the brush tool by itself is amazingly fine-tuned (the Graden pictures were done entirely with the brush - and maybe a blender in some places). And Flash, since I found out that you can use frame-by-frame. It takes a lot longer, but I know how to use it a lot easier than motion tweening...thing.

It felt so weird to be at home, with no one but my mom and dad around as the ball dropped. Usually there's the shrieking of noisemakers and friends, but I guess I'm okay with taking it easy. It never feels like a new year until you start having to write the new date on your homework...and it still take me weeks to get out of the habit of writing '07.
